The Scriptures direct us to "Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name." Psalm 100:4-5. We are to "continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise." Heb. 13:15.
We worship God because He is good, awesome, and faithful. His love is better than life, He forgives our sins, heals our diseases, and satisfies our truest desires. Psalms 7:1-2, 47:1-2, 63:1-2. Worship brings peace to our hearts and minds and ushers the overwhelming power of God's presence into our midst. Phil. 4:4-7, 2 Chron. 5:11-14.
